Welcome to my world! My stories are bits of my very precious life.
I love to tell tales; good and bad, happy and sad, ugly and beautiful, truth and cynicism, love and indifference. My blog will be an adventure as I hate boundaries. The truth of the matter is, I am a wildflower named Dandelion (haha!). You can only guess what my stories would be!
Seriously, I am now a forty-something mum of a beautiful daughter. I am also a corporate employee, a philanthropist, a human dream catcher, a hopeless romantic and again, a wildflower! I always look for that silver lining beyond the darkest of days. I really love to see happy people.
I am a memorabilia collector. I love to collect things; from paper money and coins from countries all over the world to simple things like first prescription of my baby. I don’t easily throw things in trash without reminiscing why I had them in the first place.
Peace and love, everyone!♥️
Hi, thank you for deciding to follow my blog. It’s a compliment, and I am grateful
Hi icelandpenny, you’re welcome! 🙂 It’s my pleasure reading your daily adventures 🙂
Hi Wildflower, it’s a little late on my part, but wanted to thank you for following my blog and I’m doing likewise with yours! 😀
Hi Swoosieque, you are so welcome. 🙂 Life can be tough sometimes, but I am inspired by your strength..
It’s a joy and a blessing to know you and your family through your blog. Like you, I’m proud to be Filipino even if I left our homeland 11 years ago. We can’t teach our hearts to forget a place that gave so many happy, meaningful memories. God bless and Merry Christmas to you and your love ones.
I understand how you feel and I am so glad that you never ceased to be pinoy at heart. Thank you for being an ambassador in behalf of us. A Filipino like you living in another country makes us proud that you made the world know what Filipinos are really made of, strong and kindhearted at the same time.
Maligayang Pasko sa iyo at sa pamilya mo!
“Malipayong Pasko sa imo ug sa imong pamilya” 🙂
Please don’t waste a moment worrying about your English- it’s FINE! Just go on committing your thoughts to your blog: blogging is a wonderful thing, and you will only enjoy it more each day.
M.R. thank you so much 🙂 True, I am loving it each day! And I have discovered and known more of myself now than I have in years. 🙂
Well, that is indeed excellent! Just think: we could go through life without ever discovering this kind of happy communication!
Yes, and we get to meet new friends as well and realize what a small, border-less world we have! 🙂

From Z2H: I like your about page. You are so enthusiastic, about lovely things. Your English seems fine to me- I only speak English.
Thank you Clare Flourish! For me, life is just full of surprises 🙂 English is not my first language but it is the medium of instruction of most of our subjects in our schools, also i get to learn from movies and books 🙂
Nice to see your blog. Your baby is really very beautiful. Your about me page is simple, short and good to eyes. Happy Blogging and Best Wishes!
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙂 Blogging has been my new found friend! 🙂
Blogging is good for heart. 🙂
I agree 🙂
I’ve nominated you for the sunshine award. Love your blog! Cheers!
Wow! thank you so much 🙂 I just woke up from a night’s sleep..A wonderful way to start with a sunshine on a cloudy day! 🙂
Hi Wildflower,
Thank you for visiting my blog, it brought me here to see what you’re doing. 🙂
I’m always amazed to see how well someone can do at this when English is not their first language. I think it’s so nice that people from all over the world are on here doing their own thing in their own way and we are all doing it together. 🙂
Hi Capt Jill, thank you 🙂 actually, i have a very soft spot for sea-loving persons like you, my beloved father was a seafarer half his lifetime. One of the things I learned from him is to read and read and learn English as much as I can, that was how he survived his travels around the world and made friends with different nationalities 🙂 I just hope grammar police never finds me here. Haha
no worries about the grammar police! if they’re out there, I’m sure they’ll round me up too!
I know the Philippines has the most seafarers of any country. I always wanted to learn Tagalog because of that. I’ve been a seafarer my entire life and I think it would be nice if I could talk to people in their own language sometimes. 🙂
I think Filipinos make good seafarers 🙂 Tagalog is a lovely language..yes, it is always nice to be “multi-lingual”. I, for one, aside from English and Tagalog, I also speak the dialects: “Davao-Bisaya” and “ilonggo”. It is always an advantage to speak in different tongues. I encourage you to learn Tagalog 🙂
Just to let you know that I have nominated your blog for the Leibster award:
Thank you Swoosieque! 🙂 I’ll get to it later 🙂

Greetings. I want to let you know that I have chosen you and your blog for the Field of Flowers Award. I like what you are doing here. http://jenyrunningbrook.wordpress.com/2014/02/12/i-am-honored-to-accept-the-field-of-flowers-award/
Hello runningbrook777! Thank you so much for your appreciation and for nominating me for the award. 🙂
A Spikey’s now, eh? – that growing clan of folk known to be followers of Uncle Spike
Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.
My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures since the 70′s, as well as day to day happenings on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it. Of course, if you have any suggestions for me, I’d love to hear from you, serious.
In return, I promise not to be overbearing with perhaps 2-3 posts a day tops. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.
Thanks again for your vote of confidence, and hope you have a great day…
UNCLE SPIKE
Hi uncle spike, nice meeting you here! 🙂
Thank you for liking some of my posts, glad that I found your blog through them 🙂
Me too – have a fab weekend
Ok
Thanks for your fascinating article. One other problem
is that mesothelioma cancer is generally brought on by the breathing of fibres from asbestos fiber, which is a dangerous material.
It really is commonly noticed among employees in the structure
industry who’ve long exposure to asbestos.
It is caused by living in asbestos covered buildings for some
time of time, Family genes plays a huge role, and some folks are more vulnerable to the risk than others.
Thank you Elaine. The article I wrote about mesothelioma was also an eye opener for me. I hope the awareness can also reach other people to educate them especially those who are working in these environments.
A beautiful world your blog is ! Love it 🙂 Looking forward to read your writings.
thank you so much Lala 🙂 I’ve been hibernating from writing for almost 2 months now. Can’t get to finish lots of drafts. Wonderful comments like yours give me the push and I thank you for that 🙂 Cheers!
Your English sounds fine, Dandelion. Keep writing!
Thank you so much 🙂 I guess that’s what I get from reading a lot 🙂
Naildesign – Eine Welle entzückt die Welt!
Gel-nägel brillieren immerzu vollendet behandelt und personifizieren Schönheit.
Doch was steckt eigentlich hinter dem Begriff Naildesign?
An dieser Stelle entdecken Sie ohne Zweifel was Sie suchen.
Interesting language!
