112920132093A fun activity for me also has to be a productive activity. I would love to finish off a cross stitch design that I put on hold for months already. The finished design was supposed to look like the image on the left side and the dimension is about 2 ft x 1.5 ft.

It is an image of Jesus. I find it quite difficult to stitch because the texture of the thread I used is so fine and slippery; far different from the usual threads that are cotton-like, the ones I used in my previous projects. Having had more than 10 finished cross stitch designs, I pushed my “patience” and “perseverance” to try difficult materials and it seemed that the challenge had taken its toll on me – I was not able to finish it early. However, I had still managed to do some stitches and here is a snap shot of my unfinished project:

So, this is fun for me. 🙂 When I am doing my stitches, I feel like I’m in a different world. Nothing is more fun than a fulfilling activity – well, that’s just for me. 🙂
